Introduction of “Voice SMS” services
BSNL, Calcutta Telephones introduces ‘Voice SMS’ for Landline as well as CellOne subscribers. Subscribers can send their voice massage from their Phone (Landline, WLL or GSM) to any phone (Landline, WLL or GSM).
How to Use:
Just dial ‘1256’ from Landline, WLL or GSM. You will get interactive voice from the system. Just follow the instructions carefully and record your message.
Feature: (a) You can record your message up to 45 sec.
(b) If called party is Busy or No-reply repeated FIFTEEN attempts will be made to deliver the message. The frequency of repetition is 15 minutes.
(c) If any voice message is recorded between 00.00 hrs to 06.59 hrs the message will be delivered at 07.00 hrs and after.
(d) Group Messaging facility is also available.
(e) With this you can dedicate songs to your near & dear one on special occasions.
(f) Being live recorded message, information can be sent in any language which will have more impact.
(g) It is so simple that any one in our society can use this by following interactive voice.
(h) Dedication of song on a pre-defined date is being introduced sortly.
